Christmas is All Around Me .. C'mon and Let it Snow

Yay, we won last night .. well our 2nd game .. and we won by heaps! I was worried we wouldn't have much of a turnout, but the Halls decided to rock up, and so we ended up having 1 girl sub and 2 guy subs! :o)

We did lose our first game, but I seem to care more about how we do in our 2nd game than our first! ... The team we played against in the 2nd game weren't as friendly as the teams we've played in the past couple of weeks .. Phil told me to be nice to one girl, cos she seemed "new" to the game (she was travelling heaps with the disc!) but she's been playing longer than some of my teammates, and even went to the women's clinic recently! I got a few shoves (fouls but I didn't call it - i'm too much of a pushover), elbows and even a clawing from that girl! She apologised for one of the shoves, but still .. wasn't happy!

Weekend was okay, except for parents being rather 4n4l about house cleaning .. they're in panic mode (well, more my mum) with xmas coming up and having to cook a xmas dinner .. but my room's reasonably clean now (still have to vacuum it and pack some other stuff away but i can see chair and floor space!) .. I still have my other room to clean up (computer/sewing room) but it's really hard to motivate myself to clean it up .. cos it'll only get messier everytime i sew more stuff :o/

Went to Wisemans Ferry with Alan - v hot but was a nice drive :o) I wanted to go for a swim that night, but it started storming!

I tried baking on the weekend - shortbread and a sponge layered cake .. man, both were disasters! extremely dry and awful .. hmm, i'm so over baking atm .. I normally try to bake a cake or something when I go to ppl's houses, but i'm now opting to buy a cake - so much easier and convenient .. I have no faith in my baking atm :o/

Friday was our KK and my present was a boxed set of 60s music (2 CDs) - sad thing is alan and my mum loved it! it was a good pressie though, i should have just rewrapped it and given it to my parents or alan but didn't :p My pressie was better than some - Lish received a pregnancy test! talk about unisex and non-offensive :p some guy also received a barbie doll :p

am going to lish's tonight :o) though feeling a bit sick so hopefully it won't be too late a night!
