Freakishly Tall Asian Chicks

Last night, I tried to do some xmas shopping but didnt have much luck - all i bought was 1 book ... hmm, i hate xmas shopping, i find it all v stressful cos i never know what to buy .. and i know i'm starting early but i have to cos it takes forever trying to find the right pressies, esp for one of my sista's ..

i think it's cos i learnt my lesson back in year 7 .. we went to hk and we were going to be there for my sista's bday (it's at the start of jan) and so i figured i'd buy something whilst os for her .. well that didn't happen, i couldn't find anything and she was disappointed .. i bought her something late when we got back to aus, but i've felt really guilty since and hate buying her bad pressies!

Anyhoos, i was looking for some clothes at Myers for my sista and i hear "Andrea, the clothes for the 5ft 4 are over there" and I turn around to find this freakishly tall Asian chick talking to me .. turned out to be Mindy, I tried to hide but didn't have much luck :p

We shopped together for a short while, before going our separate ways .. but then i bumped into her again at General Pants and ended up training it home with her .. I'm such a guy when it comes to shopping, Mindy's like "What do you think of that top?" ... *shrugs shoulders* .. thats prolly why I hate xmas shopping so much, cos it does involve spending more than 5 mins in a shop, and i end up getting frustrated and not buying anything, wasting so much time of my life! argh! :o(

We also discovered that we're quite opposite .. she's tall, i'm short, she likes her guys to be taller than her, i like my guys to be taller than me, she has bad taste in guys, i have good taste in guys ... :p

Been seeing a lot of ppl this week who i haven't expected to see - bumped into Mindy at the shops, Ian at the train station (twice in one day), had lunch with Gordon this week (he was my buddy at mac bank for like 4 weeks, ex bit few years above me, and is now working on the same project at wpac as me - started 2 weeks after i did in this area), nicole (lunched with her y'day) and Tib (met up with him this week for a chat as he was going to be interviewing a wpac person for his thesis) .. fun fun :o)

Haven't been feeling so good lately, think i'm lacking in iron (well that was Mindy's opinion, but I do share that opinion) .. muscles been a bit sore, feeling a bit dizzy when i exercise too .. hmm gotta take it easy .. had the worst headache last night (it was mindy's fault :p j/k) but it's gone today which is good :o)

I think I've mentioned Mindy enough times in this post - she owes me $10 cos she didn't think I'd actually blog about her today :p

Speaking of freakishly tall Asian chicks, I saw 2 more walking around Pitt St Mall last night .. they were taller than Mindy (they were wearing high heels, but even without they'd prolly be taller than she is) .. I dont know why they would wear heels when they're that tall, their poor feet!

Okay, that's enough about freakishly tall Asian chicks for me (it's only cos i'm so short :p) ...

One thing that made me feel happy this morning was thinking about the Rocks night market - i can't believe it's been a whole year since it was last on! It only feels like y'day! November already with Xmas just around the corner - whilst the thought of buying pressies scares me, it's a really enjoyable time of the year :o) So i'm happy! :o)
