Taking Things Too Seriously ...

feeling really blegh today :o/ Think it's a continuation on from y'day ..

Yesterday, I felt really really really drowsy at work and just didn't want to be there .. I also didn't want to go to frisbee, which is not a good thing either cos i'm normally quite keen to play .. but y'day, I had no energy and just didn't feel that psyched to play ..

I did bump into Belinda on the train trip to SL though, and also Matt (ex frisbee captain) on the way to the fields - was funny cos I was trying to buy a disc off him but didn't think we'd meet up in time but alas we did happen to bump into each other .. yet he didn't think we would actually meet up so he didn't bring a disc along :p

First game was against UNSW ... They're a much younger team than us I think, they're also v good and v tall - one of the girls on their team is apparently 6 ft 1? .. We lost (which I expected) though we did put up a bit of a fight at the start .. we had 7 girls, which meant there were 4 subs at a time, so I didn't get much of a run - I wasn't really in the mood anyways though :o( My ankle rolled in the first point I went on, but i didn't injure it thankfully - hurt for a few mins, but then it was better again ...

Second game I played better - I was more psyched ... I guess I have to be seeing as I am "captain" (not really, but it says so on the website) .. I also prefer playing with this team than my div2 team, I guess cos I've played at least 2 seasons with half the players! So I'm comfy with them ... The game turned rather feral though - ppl were being so pedantic (it wasn't just our side but theirs too) and I just didn't want to be part of that .. I hate conflict, I'm a blue person (well I was a mixture of blue and yellow at our wpac orientation - blue meaning I like things calm and avoid conflict .. yellow was um nerdy :p) ... ppl were arguing last night just for the hell of it, there was no hardly any good spirit, which made the game really bad :o/ I hate it when ppl take games too seriously, it makes it so un-fun for everyone :o(

Ian rolled his ankle though, bummer .. Amanda's a sweetie though, and ran all the way to the service station for ice? I wish we had more players like that on our team - just caring and also honest .. if she thinks she's out, then she'll say it .. she wont lie about it :o/

I haven't had the best sporting week - on Sunday, it was only Alan + Leon and myself at squash .. and after about my second game or 3rd game (dont think it was my first?) I started getting the shakes and my body wouldn't stop shaking .. I apparently looked more tired than I have playing squash ever .. which is not cool :o(

and today at Body Burn, my arches in my feet were killing me :o/ hmm Bernard can't make boxing tomoz, so I'm thinking of giving my body a rest then ... i dont think it can handle much more sport - though I may have to play touch tomoz arvo :o(

Ooer, I bought the new Hilary Duff cd .. yes, I know, tres embarrassing :p but hungly wouldn't get a copy of it for me :p so I had to go buy it myself :p

Speaking of grads, JY foned me last night when I was at frisbee .. got 2 missed calls so I rang him back (hehe at 10:45pm) cos I thought it was maybe an emergency - he might consider it an emergency, but the reason he was calling is cos he wanted to know who got kicked off Aus Idol! Apparently the first person he thought of that would be home watching tv was me .. how rude! We normally gossip about the OC together with Hungly, but I normally have to tape the show and watch it on the weekend when I have time! :o/

and speaking of Idol - how the hell is Casey in the final 2? er no offence .. it's just that I wanted Courtney to be there in the final 2 (I barely watch the show, though I have been taking a slight interest in it in the past 4 weeks .. and when I first started taking interest, I decided I wanted Courtney + Anthony there at the end) ... oh well, Anthony *should* win, right?

I was going to install a new hard drive on my comp - was going to make it the primary master and put a fresh copy of xp on it .. but my cd was stuffed so that was put on hold .. plus, i need another power cable .. i'm going to try to be tricky and install a pci controller card so i can keep my 2 existing hard drives and my dvd player + cd burner .. hmm though i'm a bit scared to touch my comp in case something goes wrong .. I could try to do it myself, or I could wait till Xerx finishes exams, cos he said he'll help me then ... hmm

hmm back to work for me .. just needed a break cos im having probs concentrating atm :o/
