Xmas Time is Here ... Bringing Lots of ... Drunks?

i'm bored

xmas is just around the corner and you can feel it .. work has completely slowed down, xmas parties here and there, shops are packed ..

had my xmas party last night - a cocktail event --> free drinks and finger food .. was disappointed there was no sit down dinner, cos i was starving afterwards and had to buy a cheeseburger .. was an okay night - was weird seeing my manager dance :p she always had a beer in her hand and she felt the effects this morning :p she was trying to get me to drink + franklin + aparna (the grads under her wing) but I didn't (i go red) - franklin and aparna had 1 each i think, but left around 9 .. when my manager saw that I was there at 11 still, she said that I was no longer sacked :p I didn't even know that I was :p must have not heard it with all the loud music

lotsa touching and feeling happening last night .. mixed with booty shaking .. was the alcohol talking methinsk :p was funny watching my workmates dance - they were holding hands and dirty dancing - yet some are married! ah they had fun at least and i'm thinking/hoping it was harmless! I kept taking fotos (was trying to get embarrassing shots of the guy who sits next to me :p) which they were not happy about cos i got some pretty bad ones :p I'll have to upload them soon :p

I danced a bit - my feet hurt - and left at about 11 .. met up with Alan and Mindy who had their project xmas party on (was the wpac project and Mindy writes *great* code for it :p) .. i was still hungry (finger food isn't all that filling) so indulged myself with a cheeseburger :p I was telling one workmate that i was going to maccas and he said he'd buy me a burger bigger than a big mac if i stayed at the party longer :p hehe I think he even told me he loved me (jokingly) when I told him I like cricket (he's a big fan) :p ah was funny ... prolly the alcohol talking :p

came in late to work this morning but so did everyone else :p what do u expect?

it's kinda funny .. the 2 guys who mentored me at mac bank in first year now work at wpac AND on the project i'm currently on! .. one worked for accenture @ macbank and he's now some highish manager here - I didn't think he'd remember me but he did - he even remembered my name! I spoke to him last night, I was telling him how one min he was working there, next week he wasn't there and I just assumed he rolled off the project .. he said he left for a year cos he was unhappy with work! but he says he's happier here :p he said we'll do lunch (hehe yeah right .. that doesn't happen does it when ppl say that?) and he'll tell me why he left ... i dont think he will though as he seemed reluctant to tell me :p

the other buddy at macbank was gordon, who is a bit student a few years above .. he was trying to use me last night to talk to some chick - but she ended up being married :p hehe tis funny watching him go after girls :p

yay, going to a grad function this arvo .. today's been such a cruisey day :p ... we're doing kk today, wonder what i'll get? :p something non-offensive, unisex and anonymous apparently :p
