10 Things I Love About Frisbee ...

Not necessarily things I love, but sum up frisbee and the finals which my team played in on Monday ... We won the finals, which was really good, and won by heaps too! We played an undefeated team but they didn't seem to play as well and were just throwing away the disc .. I am v proud of my team and how much they've all improved this season :o)

1 - That's the position our team finished in :o)
2 - That's what the opposition finished :p And the number of goals I scored (should have been 3 but I dropped one which was actually easier than one of the others I caught :p)
3 - Number of girls on at a time (well preferably) ... The number of seasons in a row we have won the finals :o) (though 2 were in the lower division, but for half the team, this was the first time that they've even played this high a division so winning this final was pretty amazing)
4 - Number of boys on at a time (preferable)
5 - For high 5's - all around :o)
6 - Number of times I touched the disc (2 goals, 2-3 okayish catches (can't remember if it was 2 or 3), one dropped goal .. that's all I actually remember, might have done more (or less :p) but meh :p)
7 - The number of players on at a time per side .. The difference in goals between our team and the opposition in the final (score was 16-9)
8 - The number of girls we started the season off with (we ended up with 4 coming regularly)
9 - The number of boys we started the season off with (none of the boys pulled out though which was good .. but we didn't usually have all the boys present every week so ppl got quite a bit of on time which was good)
10 - What i'd give my team (out of 10) --> actually, I'd probably give them greater than 10 out of 10 but I didn't have anything else to put down for number 10 :p

Team photo:

Our prize was this photo framed :o) The frame was slightly better than the one we received last season, and we never ended up getting the one from the season before that :p

On Tuesday morning, Bernard asked me which letter should he had -> I/A/U to CH?MP :p hehe i liked that :p

I also gained some confidence on Monday when Phil threw me the disc in the endzone ... it was travelling far and fast but I kept my eyes on it and knew i wanted it .. and i apparently ran faster than anyone's seen me run (according to Adrian) and somehow managed to still catch it :p it started to drop but it's a good thing i'm short i guess :p was really pumped after that :p

*** In Other News *******
Tis Matty's second week here, things have been a bit hectic but not so bad ... though we only have a few days left to get all of our testing done ...

I went to the C'brook Chinese Community Association's dinner for Chinese New Year on Saturday - never been to one of those shindigs before .. boy did I feel sick afterwards! so much food! It was at Kam Fook, and the food there was good, service okay (i hate how they keep trying to take away your bowl when you have your final mouthful and haven't had time to put your bowl down, or they try to rush you so they can clear up) .. i think i also got more food than i should have, as 2 ppl didn't turn up on our table!

Sunday, didn't do much either :p Recovering (never wanted to see food again ... well, that was until mid-afternoon :p) .. Shopping with my mum too - i keep trying to get her to try on clothes as I feel bad that i'm always the one buying and she gets stuck following me around! I already bought her a b'day pressie (she tried it on and liked it, and i bought it and told her dad can give it to her :p) ... But I did manage to buy some jeans and a singlet top (both discounted then that price was halved!) --> cost less than $35 in total :p Played squash, didn't play so well though ... i've just totally lost it, not like i ever really had it :p but i keep missing even the easy shots :o/ *sigh*

Lauz caught the bus with me today (she got back from fiji y'day) - was going to pay for her bus fare as I had a travel 10, but ended up not having to pay for some strange reason (but yay anyways :p) .. Alan didnt have to pay for his bus either this morning .. maybe they realise how dodgy their services have been lately and we shouldn't have to pay for it :p the buses are always late - i rush to the bus stop, only to have to wait over half an hour for a crowded bus .. *sigh* really frustrating!

Anyways, outta here .. not much else to report for now :p
