Metro, Metro Man

man, I'm getting sooo bad at posting .. but my new job doesn't allow me to spend time blogging away :o( Which means that Ian will demote my blog from being one of his fave blogs cos I don't update it regularly enough! noooo!!

Though .. I do offer him lifts home from frisbee .. so he has to be nice to me :p

Anyhoos, reason for the title of my post is cos I spent Saturday night at Patrick's sista's house .. he was having a dinner party there for some of the grads, was a really good event .. Patrick is a real metrosexual (JY says he borders on homosexual :p) --> he cooks, he cleans, he likes wearing pink shirts, he moisturises regularly (the tub is on his desk at work) ... but he does have a gf so he's straight for the time being, but she's os atm .. maybe she's like Natalie from the OC :p

We played rapidoh (like pictionary but with play-doh) .. that game is really hard! I was parntered up with Pat and Mindy, I must admit I liked guessing Mindy's models .. mine sucked, I really am not good at shaping things at all :p

Think the quote of the night came from Keng during a round of rapidoh .. His teammates were guessing the answers and he was like "You have to guess! I can't tell you the answer!" .. Ah so honest :p

Had frisbee last night, semis which we lost ... then we played for 3rd/4th position which we lost as well :p in the semis, we were 4 all when the whistle blew ... so we had to play out the last point which was long and painful and in the end the girl I was marking scored .. A part of me wished that I was taller or had run faster or could run faster and maybe I would have stopped it .. but alas, it wasn't to be .. I scored 1 goal though, wish I'd done more for the team :o/

We lost the 3rd/4th in the same fashion - my girl ran for it and I sorta just stopped running as I didn't think she'd get it .. even if I had chased her, I dont know if I would have gotten it but it was the fact I just couldn't run anymore .. the game was only meant to go for 30 mins so we could watch the end of the finals, but it went on for the full 45 mins (whilst everyone else sat around drinking and eating pizza! argh! :p) .. I scored all 3 of our points though (we lost 5-3), with the 3rd point a bit of a fluke .. I thought I would miss it, and so did the person throwing it to me, but I managed to catch it with 1 hand :p though my calf muscle cramped up in the process .. did it a few times when jumping for the disc ..

I almost scored another point, but it was a bit too long and I landed out :o( ran heaps for it and cramped up as well :o/ Also did a hand block too, but it didn't really deflect the disc much, however the other team weren't able to catch it! I played better in the 2nd game than the first, but was just disappointed that maybe I could have done a bit more .. but then there is no I in team :p

I haven't been feeling the best lately ... just been a bit blue .. work's been getting to me, am a bit disillusioned by it all ... I got home after 8 today, which is late for me, esp seeing as I'm in by 8:30 .. most of the floor was pretty quiet when I left (I think my manager had even gone home and she starts work later than me) but I was busy doing work for some other person on another project .. Had to collect data, but the system I was using to collect my data from was taking FOREVER to load .. literally took at least 5 mins just to load one page, soo frustrating .. gave up in the end cos it would have been ridiculously late if I had stayed back any later ..

Fell asleep on the train (stupid train was delayed) and think I woke up mid dream .. think I was reacting from it (as you do) jerked a bit whilst lifting my arms up in the air when I started waking up .. hope no one realised :p embarrassing :p Was really out of it on the train :p

Am busy uploading fotos from Pat's dinner, will post link later .. Have received fotos of the wedding from my cous, just need to sort thru the fotos before I upload them .. am taking more care with them than with my other fotos :p
