So Long Good Friend!
well .. it's not really a friend as such i'm saying goodbye to .. it's more a building, a location, a second home :p okay, i wont take it that far .. but today, is my last day here at the Wpac Technology Centre, SL ... I move to the city monday, and i'm all packed up (except for my pc + phone) and ready to go! :o)
We're having lunch at 12:30 today, then I come back to the office, turn off my pc and hometime (well hopefully! :o) ... can't really do much work without a pc :p And then it's hens night time - bring on the strippers ;o) ..
Okay .. make that 1 stripper I think .. from manpower .. and a 7 course asian banquet (i'm having a banquet at lunch too! :o/) .. and karaoke .. and dancing ... hmmmmm .. should be an interesting night :D
So here's a list of the things I'm going to miss about SL:
- Can't really gym it as often as I do here .. and take as long lunch breaks to go to the gym when i'm in the city ... gyms will also prolly be really packed .. and classes at lunch are only 45 mins long, as opposed to the 1 hour = nice long workout!
- No basketball .. JY's thinking of forming a team, but prolly all male as there wouldn't be any female interest other than myself :o/
- Won't be as close to frisbee - hmm will be a bit of a trek to get there ... even when my games started late, I could just hang out at work or go to the gym beforehand .. hmm now for all the early games i'll definitely be late .. hehe even though I worked the closest to the ovals, I was always the last one to rock up - so it'll prolly be heaps worse when i'm in the city :p
- Won't be able to do boxing with Bernard - he told me that if I stick with him, i'll be a trim, taught and terrific and a lean, mean fighting machine! He makes me work hard at boxing, but there aren't any boxing classes at lunch (out of 3 gyms, not one class at a reasonable hour! major sux0rz)
- Body balance instructor - the one at Carlo just isn't as good, she talks a little too much so we go overtime :o/
- Ruth and Ann - i won't get to hang out with them now they're at SL .. and same with Tib, though we barely met up cos he's always out at a client in whoop whoop!
- The food - I still haven't tried all the food I wanted to whilst here .. hmm, plus food in the city is expensive I think .. I'll miss the fish cakes at Cafe Wasabi - yummy, waffle + red bean .. They didn't have any this morning :o/
Then spent the night helping mum work out the table order too, who goes where etc .. hmm, it's hard putting ppl next to someone they prolly have never spoken to and may not want to talk to on the night .. but sometimes, it can't be helped! I dont even know who i'm stuck next to .. I guess I just want to be next to someone who's willing to let me try some of their dishes (I know Lauren will let me share hers - we always share our food - usually she eats what i don't like and vice versa :p .. though being on the table which everyone sees, I can see it not looking so good if we're passing food across our plates :p)
Didn't have time to do any of the sewing I was meant to .. have to find time for it this weekend :o/ Was just so buggered last night, and by the time I got to bed it was midnight anyways! Missed Therese's b'day get together as a result, felt bad but I her get together was v last minute and I am just swamped with wedding stuff atm :o/
Head hurts and i dont know how i'll survive a long night out .. but i shouldn't be out too long, have to catch a train home still! :D
Until later - may not be till the weekend or so .. prolly won't be able to use my pc in a couple of hours :D
Goodbye building, goodbye location!

So Long Good Friend!... I've enjoyed reading your blog. I was searching for work at home mums sites. I have a home based business and I wanted some ideas and tips. I also have a blog, it is www.adminsupervisor.blogspot.com it’s new and it’s getting better all the time. Have a look if you want, but I'm moving house and have not posted in a while. I'll get back to it soon.
My other site is a work at home mums site. I recently decided to build my own income and I thought I searching for tips would help me become a better mentor.
Keep up the great work Blogger, I'll be back soon.

Hey Blogger, you have a great blog here. So Long Good Friend! caught my eye and I thought I would put a post on it. I'm looking for help.
The site I have is a work from home in the uk site. Its all about, need I say it, working from home. I think people should have the choice to build their own income instead of somebody else’s. Freedom of well being and all of that...anyway I was on your site looking for ways to help my business. I'm really looking for ways of building better rapport between recruits.
Anyways Blogger thanks for the great blog. I'll just have to carry on my search till I find what I'm looking for. Take care.

I know that’s not what you’re going on about in this post but I am trying to expand my vocabulary phrases so I can talk to many different personalities. I mean I have to talk to a lot of people and I need to be able to connect with everyone.
Anyways Blogger, this helped. Keep it up, I'll be back.
