It's A Small World ...

what a day! I just got back from dinner with my parents at Neutral Bay - we went to Ginger and Spice (the restaurant owned by Phil's cousins) ... the waiters there are v friendly, the food quite good --> they don't have the best chicken rice but they do make this lovely sambal squid dish, and this deep fried (healthy :p) bean curd dish stuffed with mince - they were the 2 fave dishes I had when I went with the grads ... we got that tonight, plus this nice kangkong (? think that's what it was called) vegie dish :o) ...

My parents and I were in that area as my dad was picking my mum and me up from Carey's future mother in law's place - they had a kitchen/tea afternoon tea .. The future mother in law is the best cook - she made so many lovely cakes/food - orange cake, layered sponge cake, lemon tart, chocolate mud cake, sandwiches, short bread etc ... So fatty too, not the best food to eat just before the wedding when we have dresses to fit into but so yummy! :p

I didn't know many ppl there (one of my sista's friends commented I'm the sista none of them have met :p) but coincidentally, May was there! I thought it looked like her but I didn't know she knew my sista (and didn't think she did) .. turns out she briefly worked with my sista a couple of years back! Ah was good to know someone though, I hate social gatherings!

I also met my partner for the wedding's mum :p She was also commenting on how bad a dancer he is! Awww, but at least he's trying :o) He seriously has put so much effort into trying to learn how to dance, it's impressive :o) He'd practiced with his mum during the week, she's apparently quite a good dancer but unfortunately, he inherited his dad's bad dancing genes :p

Had some strange dreams last night ... One was about frisbee training, I was training with the UTS guys (like Josh), I think helping them for AUGs .. and I was doing layouts and impressive stuff .. and it just came so easily! Pity it's not like that in real life :p I don't think i'd ever layout at training, and i haven't played that well recently :o/ Hope things improve for the hat tourney starting this week! :o)

Also had a dream with Ian in it .. He was having a b'day party in his garage and my parents gave me a lift there (he for some odd reason has a long driveway with hedges .. hmm though thinking about the outside of his house, this doesn't look like it :p) ... I arrived at like 10am, even though the party started at like 2 :p though I think Mindy soon rocked up! :p hehe strange dreams :p

Oh, I finally got a soft copy of the foto of my frisbee team we received as our prize from the grand final:

Quality's not brilliant, but I had to lighten it as it was heaps dark before .. oh well! :o)

Anyhoos, gotta go do some sewing now ... will post later :o)

hmm but your driveway isn't lined by hedges? it's got trees but not a hedge as such? and the hedge seemed to loop a bit :p

hehe maybe i was at your party back then .. or maybe i wanted to be? :p haha or maybe i just shouldn't eat before i go to bed, so i don't have strange dreams :p

i think i woke up screaming (or about to scream or was screaming in my dream) from a bad dream the other night :o(

I'll try to remember to send it when I get home (or if I forget, you can ask Glenn as he's the one who sent it to me) :p
