I Wanna Dance With Somebody!

hmm, not sure how I'll sleep tonight .. I went and had a nap at about 5pm, and woke up at 10:30 tonight :p hehe whoops :p

Really needed my rest ... just tired, irritable, and sick .. Not feeling quite as bad, my cold has moved from my throat to my nose :o/

Had a dress fitting for Louisa and Lee's wedding this morning .. took a lot to get me out of bed - combination of tiredness, sickness, weather and possible hangover? :p I had a bad dream about the dress fitting too .. I was going away with friends (Busara and Betty popped up in my dream :p) and we were staying up near the Hunter Valley/Newcastle region ... we were staying somewhere we've stayed before (well, not in real life, but in my dream we've apparently stayed there) --> I think it was meant to be like the place we recently stayed at (Monkey Place) but for some odd reason it was now a lighthouse and a popular tourist spot (ppl would stop there and visit it, so we had to vacate it during the day or something) ... Anyhoos, Louisa's dress fitting was at 9:30 on the Saturday morning, and it was 9:20 and she foned asking where I was .. I was like "I'm on my way, I'll be there soon .. er, where is the place again?" and she gave me a street name .. I had to get my driver (not sure which friend it was) to speed just to get me there on time! Louisa was all panicky, and glad to see that I had arrived --> she gave me my dress to try on and I was surprised to see it was different to the dress originally decided on .. it was white and short??? I asked what had happened to the original dresses, and she's like "I told you I've changed it" .. I was like "no you hadn't!!!" but she swears she did .. She then shows me her wedding dress, and that's also changed --> it was a fluoro pink halterneck dress with silver glitter/beads on it :p hahah ... I told Louisa today, and she laughed :p I can't see her ever picking a bright pink wedding dress, so was glad it was only a dream :p

Last night, I went out drinking for Kate's farewell at Pier 26 ... Kate's good friends with my bodyguards, and I've only started to get to know her better, so it's sad she's leaving .. she's going for 1 year overseas to work and travel --> sounds like everyone's doing it!!! (Speaking of which, here's a link to Ligs' blog - missing her heaps!!!)

Had 2 malibu + pineapples and 2 tia maria's + milk :p Was bright red, v giggly and somewhat tipsy :p Simon (bodyguard 1) kept trying to get me to drink heaps again :p such a bad influence :p Was fun, though I didn't stay out too late because I was pretty tired and the weather was rather bad ... awww, apologies to the JJ and Chewy for not meeting up with them later that night :p I just wanted to go home and rest!!!

Ann and some others are apparently going rnb super clubbing tonight :p I got the message too late, but I don't think I'd bother venturing out in this weather, esp because I'm sick!! Louisa's hens night was meant to be tonight - she tried to book for this date, but they were booked out so it was changed to the 23rd .. after we all got the message that it was the 23rd, she was called up saying that there was a cancellation for tonight if she wanted it but she decided it was too much trouble .. good choice, because I don't think I'd really enjoy tonight with the weather and being sick :o/

hmm might clean my room - it hopefully will tire me out :p Am listening to 80s music (hence title of post - it was the song being played when I entered my room, so was really happy :p) whilst watching the rugby union - go the wallabies!!
