Must Remember Chopsticks

hmm, I received a few emails from friends last week, with a list of q's they had answered about themselves .. One of the questions on it was "what's your favourite kitchen appliance?" ... I'm not entirely sure what my answer to that would be (hmm maybe the blender? except i hate cleaning it afterwards :p or the electric beater?), but i do know what my LEAST favourite item is .. the toaster ..

I can tell a good day and a bad day based on how my breakfast turns out .. yesterday, was a bad day (for many reasons which I won't list here :p) .. but I had a lot of problems with toasting my english muffin y'day, all due to that darn toaster! I hate it when someone's adjusted the settings to something absurdly high, and you don't realise (i once thought the setting was low, but the knob was actually pointing 180 degrees in the opposite direction!), till when the bread/muffin comes out completely black ... I also hate it when the bread/muffin gets stuck in the toaster, and it's too hot to try to get it out --> Hence why I need chopsticks (wooden ones) .. Whilst the english muffin isn't quite asian, using chopsticks to remove it from the toaster is a good idea! I have also had the problem where my bread has popped out of the toaster and landed on the floor :o/ Oh, and this toaster at work seems to zap me a lot (darn static electricity!), esp in my pin strip pants :p

So is today a good or bad day? hmm, it's actually a better day than yesterday :o) Muffin came out easily - and wasn't burnt .. but for those days when I'm not having a good day, i really must remember the chopsticks (and to check the toaster settings :p)

Might shoot some hoops with Hung at lunch today .. am glad he likes practicing with me :o) Mr L is deciding to play cricket at lunch instead - pfft, loser :p j/k :p Finger is a bit sore from y'day though, it's kinda bruised and swollen - darn Hung's jinxed ball ;o) .. I must try not to injure myself too much before Monday's finals :p (I must also try to get better - I think i'm getting sicker again :o/) ... I've already warned Ian that he's not allowed to injure himself before the finals - he's going skiing and skateboarding this weekend ... I really hope he doesn't do a Chito ;o)
