The Best ...

hmm going to write this whilst I have a chance :|

I had a really good birthday this year - in fact, it was fan-bl4rdy-tastic :o)

I got the best of a lot of things:

• The best home-made cards ever ... I got awesome cards from the SL boyz and Carly, but Ian's card was probably the most creative and professional of all ... hehe I didn't mind that tax payer's money paid for this card ;o)
  


• The best birthday drinks ever - okay, sure this was my first birthday drinks I've ever had, but that's besides the point!! Big thanks to everyone who could make it :o) Was a lot of fun


• The best present ever - I got a picture with Greg Blewett!!!! 6 years ago, I was at Nth Sydney Oval and got his autograph, but my dad was too slow with the camera so never got a photo with him .. I was sooo disappointed and since then have dreamt of having my photo with him .. I never thought it possible, and each year that we went to see him play, my chances of getting that photo seemed less likely ... Anyhoos, I noticed that spectators were sitting around the players area (where they watch the game from) so I moved so sit around there .. I was eyeing the area, waiting for Blewett to go to the players area and hope to pounce on him to have my photo with him .. but when he did make the walk up to the players area, it was too hard to get across to him :| So, my parents suggested I go up to the players window and ask him through there .. I went up to the window, and came across Jason Gillespie - so I asked him if I could have a photo with Blewett .. he's like "I'll ask him for you" and he's then like "Greg, can you have a photo?" and looks at me .. Greg's like "sure, I'll be out in a sec" ... I'm waiting and waiting (what seems like ages) when the security guard comes over and tells me it's a restricted area and I can't stand there .. I look at Gillespie and he's like "it's okay" to the security guard - he's sooo nice .. and if I had more time, I would have asked for his foto too :p So here it is - my dream:
  

On Saturday, I went to Istana with Ruth/John/Xerx/Kel/Vanessa/Alex (hehe I was 7th wheel :p) and they bought me a bday cake :o) how cool is that?? Photos are here .. Was really fun, but I seriously ate too much food :|

It didn't help that I was at Ann's place earlier - she cooked an awesome Vietnamese lunch .. rice paper rolls, curry and profiteroles .. yummo!! It was raining, so we werent able to play bball --> instead, we just lounged about and watched Futurama .. I fell asleep, and apparently started snoring ;o) hehe

I'd had a lot to drink on Friday - so that explains my drowsiness ... I didn't feel hungover (I drank heaps of water throughout the night), but I didn't get as much sleep as I probably required :p I was making up for not drinking enough at my birthday drinks :p hehe .. had 3 drinks + 5 cowboys - yummo!!! :p
