The OC was dodgy last night .. everything was pretty much shown in the ad .. and well yeah ... Damn JY, getting me hooked on the show :p

The place at Lake Macquarie (or rather, Lake Munmorah to be exact) was good and bad .. it kinda sucked that it didn't have a dvd player (even though they said it did and we ended up bringing dvds and not movies), the bbq didn't work, there's no light above the bbq so even if it had worked we would have had problems using it, the vcr wasn't cabled correctly and had to be tuned in to channel 11 to work (how were we to know this? :p), and because of the windy weather the week before, the beach behind the house was covered in random mess .. Oh, and the shower sucked too as the pipes made a lot of clanging noise and it wasn't v big - i hate the feel of a shower curtain on my bare skin :p .. Oh, and there was no table to eat at inside the house, and their couches were made of a horrible brown leather, and it looked like they were from the 60s :p

But it was a nice house, great company (except during punch drunk love), nice setting .. just relaxing in a way :o) and it was good to get away from sydney for a bit :o)

Random Thought #4
I've eaten too much food lately .. On the way back from Lake M, we ended up buying pies from Pie in the Sky - Cowan :o) Yummmmmy! My family only ate ours last night and they are really good pies .. We had chicken + asparagus, lamb + honey + garlic + chilli and beef + tomato + onion :o) dammit, i want to go back and get some more! :o)

And whilst away, I had super breakfasts and a super er non-bbq (we ended up cooking in the kitchen as the bbq didn't work) .. Breakfast consisted of baked beans, hash browns, sausages, eggs, bacon and toast (which Alan and Peter turned into super sandwiches :p), and the dinner consisted of sausages + fish fingers + baked (then fried) vegies + steak + herb bread + pasta salad ... finished off with neapolitan (which is heaps nice with mud truffle chocolate chopped up :p) .. *drools* .. maybe it's cos it's lunch time that i'm thinking about all this food :p

I don't really like banks much, even though I work at one ... they're okay, but sometimes they can get quite frustrating ... procedures .. hmm

I REALLY hate pushy ppl, esp on the trains! This morning, I was trying to go downstairs on the train but it was semi blocked by some school kid with a huge bag .. so i went to walk around him so i walked down one side of the stairs .. As I was trying to walk there, some girl (she wasn't even young! .. like not a school kid young ..) pushed past me just to get a seat (which I wasn't even going for) ... Like, talk about rude! I felt like telling her off about it (wasn't in the best of moods this morning :p) as there was seriously no need to push, but being the coward I am, I didn't :p Seriously, some ppl are just rude!

I also hate it when ppl push themselves onto the train and the ppl alighting from it haven't even gotten off ...

I'm glad my workmate's back .. not only did he buy me some dvd's os, he's actually really helpful work-wise .. I've learnt a lot from him lately ..

I've changed my assignment date .. not sure what date i've changed it to, but it's somewhere in the week of the 24th Sept - so it'll be before my team move into the city .. I'll be going to the city regardless, but a different building ...
