Ugh!

Oh man, am I pi55ed off or what?! hmm, I bought Dancing Stage (DDR) 1.5 weeks ago from EB's - $79.10 - 10% so it came to about $72 .. Today, my mum went in and bought it as a pressie for someone, and the label on it said 25% off! I walked out saying I can't bear to see how much it comes to .. In the end, it came to $44! The shop assistant says that the price is actually cheaper than it says! How annoying is that???

Though, apparently Myers are selling it for $110 atm .. so that slightly makes me feel better .. but not really! Man, how annoying!

So, whilst mum was at EB's, I went to the shop across the passageway as my hs friend was working there .. it was her 21st y'day, so I went in to wish her a happy birthday :o) I like to visit her once in a while, she's always working it seems! But was good to catch up :o)

I did the Body Burn class this morning at the gym .. I noticed that Peter's name had been replaced with Amanda's on the schedule, and was disappointed - the past 2 weeks, Amanda has taken us, but Peter's name was always there ... so I was thinking that maybe Peter's gone for good! :o( However, in the class, Amanda said that Peter will be back next week .. though she has said it for the past 3 weeks in a row now! So I wonder if she'll be saying that every week, just as a way of luring us to come back the following week! I miss my eye candy ;o) Mindy reckons he's batting for our (the female) team :p I am not sure what I think, but he's cute either way, and his class is a killer! Amanda's classes aren't as hard, because she doesn't make us do sit ups and pushups at the end! i miss having that!

She's chosen the same exercise 3 weeks in a row, the first week she kept forgetting what she was doing! But she's gotten better ... and I think I've gotten better, I now pretty much know all the steps .. One of the ladies there was a bit lost throughout the whole class .. I noticed she was looking at me dancing a lot, and trying to learn from what I was doing as opposed to the teacher! There was one set (which includes the Mambo :p) that I noticed she was really trying to watch to see what I was doing, so I kinda slowed down a little bit and kinda mouthed to her what she was meant to be doing .. was good to see her get the hang of it after a while :o)

The classes can be quite overwhelming like that! I remember my first lesson, I was tempted to leave after 10 mins but was glad I stayed! I just got so lost and kept bumping into ppl .. so when I see newcomers struggle, I feel like going up to them and tell them to keep at it, as it will get easier each week!

Though last week, there was a guy there who I hadn't seen before .. he looked really out of place and he was new to it - he left after 10 mins :p Ah, he really struggled --> I think it's soo much easier for girls to pick up the moves than guys!

Oh, and I think I know that Amanda instructor .. The first week, I thought she looked like Delta a bit (with the cap on) .. Next week, she had no cap and reminded me a bit of Alysson Hannigan .. and now this week, I think she looks like our old sports captain from hs (think my sista's year?) .. I don't have the yearbook with her in it (my sista would have that) but I really think it's her .. I mean, the first name's the same, she looks like her, and she's sporty/athletic! ah, tis a small world :o)

Spent the day at the shops, was getting really hungry :p Carey got her make up trialled at DJ's, I'm set to have mine trialled on Thursday, Lauz on Tuesday .. should be fun, not! The lady who did it though was heaps nice! Much nicer (and also half the age) than the last lady we trialled!

I spent last night working out how to use my sewing machine .. Was complicated, but it's not that hard once you sit down and just go through the manual .. step by step :p I blind-stitched my pants! i've never done that before but was intrigued how to do it, and it worked but it looks dumb .. It looks heaps neat on the inside, but the blind stitches come through on the outside .. I think I prefer my hand-sewing instead where it looks messy on the inside and invisible on the outside! Oh well, hopefully no one will notice the shonky job I did :p Mum doesn't like it when i try on shoes and have to roll up my pants, cos that's when the shonky job on the inside is visible :p

Okay, that's my rant for now .. will rant more later :p

hehe yeah, it was a long rant :p But you know what i'm like when it comes to typing out my thoughts - you've seen my emails :p I don't know the meaning of concise :p

ah i'll get over ddr soon .. hopefully :p Tis good exercise :o)

a blind stitch is a type of stitch used for hems .. you're not meant to see the stitch on the outside (good side) of your clothing - the needle doesn't pierce through all of the fabric .. meh, too hard to explain, i might show you next time i see you - all my pants are sewn up (the downside to being short :p)

Chill pill... if you've already bough the mat, the there's not much you can do about it. Hehe just enjoy it and use some kinda of creative accounting to justify the expenditure :)
