Itching to Play

hmm I was coming back from lunch with Matty today and was itching to play DDR .. we were discussing Paranoia and how hard it was, and all afternoon, I've wanted to play it! :o) I can't now though, cos my dad's in the lounge watching the news .. but as soon as the news is over --> vroom, that's where you'll find me! :D

My inbox was flooded today with emails from 2 of my workmates discussing an issue we have atm .. I don't really know what the issue is, but I noticed that my workmate suggested that we produced a flowchart for our jobs .. Something triggerd in my head which said, maybe i could do it, so I volunteered .. I don't think any of my workmates have any problem with that - it's not the sort of task they'd like to do .. but I kinda can't wait to get my teeth into it, cos it'll mean a) work and b) being able to research more about the systems I'm supporting .. It'll just be a good learning experience really ... and i kinda need that, am feeling unchallenged atm ...

I had lunch at Sea Treasure Restaurant, Crows Nest as a welcome lunch for Jone-Yin .. I organised it (I did such a great job .. not :p), was a rather last minute thing .. but if I had my way, we would have lunched up on level 5 of our building .. JY wasn't too keen on that, but after he saw level 5 (I gave him the grand tour of our building :p) he was vvv impressed by it! It is quite nice, it's a balcony view, rather sunny, and you can see the Harbour Bridge from it ...though yum cha wasn't that bad, except I feel guilty about all the greasy food I ate! hmm har-gow! :D

Highlights

• Finding work to do! I have to wait for Visio to be installed on my PC, don't know how long that will take .. the guy from Help Desk who I spoke to about it was really friendly - he asked me how I'm finding Sydney though, which I thought was slightly odd :p

Lowlights

• Can't really think of any .. maybe just eating too much food - ah, i'm naughty :p Normally I'd be at the gym on a Thursday :p

Anyhoos, DDR time .. been waiting for a while to play!
