Lady Luck

Well .. I'm actually in early for once and it's a Friday of all days! .. but, am rather tired!

Lady luck was on my side this morning .. I slept in till 7:05 this morning and left the house at 7:33 .. There's a train to hornsby at 7:33 (hehe which if on time, i would have missed) and a train via the city at 7:40 .. I arrived at the station at 7:42 (there was barely any traffic! We took the shortest route, which is usually the longest route in the mornings cos of traffic) so I knew I'd missed thte 7:40 by a couple of minutes. I thought I'd really missed the 7:33 train, but was surprised to see it pulling in as I arrived! It was pretty late (even Cityrail would agree it's late, as it was > 5 mins after the scheduled time) .. So I hopped on that, and my connecting train (the not-full train, which sits at hornsby for 12 mins) was waiting there (about to pull off for 2 mins) .. I caught that, but had problems sleeping on it and needed to, so am rather exhausted atm :o/

hehe I probably shouldn't have DDRed before going to bed .. Exercise before bedtime isn't recommended, I had problems getting to sleep last night :p

so am drinking caramel tea atm in the hopes that the caffeine will wake me up .. It was a free sample my workmate got, but didn't want .. and I can see why! It smells so artificial .. Think I'll chuck it out and make some hot chocolate instead! I don't like the bottles of milk at work as they form crystals around the tops of them .. some of it fell into my drink, so that's another reason to chuck this tea out!

I went to the trouble of ironing a shirt last night which I decided not to wear at last minute today .. so it's now all crumpled on my bed :p Think my mum even tried ironing it before I did - for $60 it is really bad quality! Well, it looks nice, but it gets creasy so easily! I bought that shirt in 2 other colours too, I don't wear one cos it's my bad luck shirt (everytime I've worn it, i've had a bad day and spilt something on it :p), but the other one i like (nice colour), except I have to wear something over it so the creases aren't so obvious! .. My mum hates pure cotton shirts as she says they're hard to iron, yet these ones aren't pure cotton and seem the hardest to iron!

Okay, the smell of artificial caramel tea is getting to me .. time to make some hot chocolate and have some breakfast!
